Specifications
Focus Collaborative provides construction specs,
design-build specs, master specs, and product specs. We can
tailor our services to suit your project needs. Select from
specs on drawings, outline specs, standard specs, and
comprehensive specs to match your project's scope and
complexity.
Select the CSI format you wish to use. Focus
Collaborative will deliver specifications using MasterFormat
2004 (50 division) or MasterFormat 1995 (16 division)
numbering scheme, automatically, using a single set of
master guide specifications.
 Choose the basis for your project specifications.
We will write project specifications
using our own master
files based on SPEXTEXT,
Masterspec, or Unified Facilities Guide Specifications using
SpecsInTact. We are
experienced with all three systems. When necessary we will use
your in-house master
specifications.
Make
your product and system selections. We will help
identify and specify other
products to meet your performance and aesthetic demands.
With specific named
products, substitution requests are reduced, minimizing your
submittal review time.
Our LEED Accredited Professional staff will assist
the project design team identify
the appropriate LEED
sustainable design goals for your projects. Focus
Collaborative
will document the technical requirements to
meet the project goals.
Rely on Focus specifiers recognized by the
Construction Specifications Institute (CSI)
as Certified Construction Specifiers and Certified Document
Technologists. We prepare
specifications complying with all
the CSI standard formats, simplifying information
retrieval for designers, contractors, and suppliers.

specifications in your typical format, type face,
and custom header and footer, so your firm maintains its
distinctive identity, throughout
the specification process.
